John Arthur Malbrough , 72, departed this life on Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born November 10, 1948 to Rudolph Malbrough, Sr., and Edna Colligan Malbrough in Church Point, LA.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Skobla (Anthony) Savoie, Lakeisha (Brad) Simien and Toya (Rick) Guillory, Sr., all of Lake Charles, LA; siblings, Felton (Liz) Malbrough, Lois (Rayfield) Johnwell, both of Lake Charles, LA, Theresa (John) Price of Houston, TX, Grace (Rufus) Esprit of Moss Bluff, LA and Veronica (Amos) Cluse of Crosby, TX; eight grandchildren, Keion, Haley, Jay, Cody, BJ, Maddie, Taryn and Bryan; 14 great grandchildren, Dylan, Dallas, Adrieanna, LeKeyn, Armani, Abria, Ashton, Courtlin, Krysten, Rowyn, Alaya, Amya, Charles and Ava and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph, Sr., and Edna Malbrough; grandson, Rick James Guillory, Jr., and nine siblings, Peter, Paul, Rudolph, Jr., Melvin, Albert, Adam, Joseph, Marylee and Eva Mae.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 13, 2021, at 12:00 p.m., and funeral service and 2:00 p.m., at King's Funeral Home.
