Johnny B Lemon, 63, departed this life on Friday, October 14, 2016, at his residence. He was born on November 30, 1952, to Morris and Willie Mae Lemon in Kinder, LA. He worked at Conoco Phillips for 40 years as a mechanical engineer until his retirement. He was a member of Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church for many years. He enjoyed fishing, boating, golfing, and woodwork. He was a skilled computer tech and worked on everyone's computer.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Janice Lemon; his children, Jhonnette Smith (Brandon), Jeremy Lemon (Danielle) and Jason Lemon; his siblings, Lertie Mose, Katie Loyd, Lee Peoples, Dorothy Watkins (Ike), Mary Wilson (Milton, II), and Dianne Rawls (Eric); three grandchildren, Braylon Smith, Bryce Smith, Baylee Smith and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Morris and Wille Mae Lemon; four brothers, Morris Lemon, Jr., Sidney Lemon, Samuel Lemon and Rayford Lemon and two sisters, Addie Mae Dellafosse and Patricia Lemon.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at Mount Pilgrim Baptist Church, Rev. Edward Smith, officiating. Burial will be in Kinder Graveyard under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
