Joseph Eldridge Babineaux, 48, affectionately known as "BooBie", died at 10:40 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, surrounded by family. He was born on September 18, 1964 in Lake Charles, LA. Joseph was a life-long resident of Lake Charles, LA. He received Christ at a young age and he was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. He recently rededicated his life to Christ through baptism. Joseph attended and graduated from Washington High School. He was a truck driver for various companies throughout his career. He enjoyed driving trucks and was referred to, by his fellow truck drivers, as "tag along". His favorite past time entailed cooking Bar-B-Q for family and friends. Those left to cherish his memories are his loving mother, Ethel Edwards and husband Claude Edwards, Jr.; father, Joseph Eldridge Andrepont; brothers, Dexter Alex Jean of Lake Charles, LA, Dwain Andrepont of Houston, TX ,; sister, Kelly Andrepont of Lake Charles, LA; uncles, Edward Babineaux and wife Rose of Katy, TX; Wilfred Babineaux and wife Irma of Lake Charles, LA; Wilbert Babineaux and wife Dessie of Lake View Terrance, CA; Marshall Andrepont and wife Theresa of Lake Charles, LA, ; nephew, Jaden A'vante Jean of Wilmar, AR; a loyal friend, Ernestine Marie Berry, cousin, Becky Carter "like a big sister", cousin, Lawrence Andrepont "like a big brother", and many other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Edmond and Lorena Babineaux, Clarence and Rita Andrepont,; aunt, Annie Lee Victorian and uncle Clarence Victorian and brother, Norman Andrepont.
