Joseph Fontenot, Jr., 60, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014. He was born in Opelousas, Louisiana, on May 1, 1954, to the late Joseph Fontenot, Sr., and the late Mary Fontenot. He was a lifelong resident of Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was married to the late Judy Fontenot. He was a longtime employee for D&W Drilling. Joseph loved fishing and spending time with family. He leaves to cherish his memories: three sisters, Rita (Roy) Rodriguez, Patricia (Vernell) Williams and Diane Kennison; four daughters, Shelly (Cornelius) Wilson, Melissa Fontenot, Michelle Fontenot and Tiffany Fontenot; Seven grandchildren, Trevon Fontenot, Dante & Jevon Medlow, Joseph & Kiara Richard, Arianna & Saniyah Fontenot; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends He was preceded in death by his only brother, Jerry Fontenot and his parents.
