On Friday, January 3, 2014, Joseph Martin Joubert departed this life at the age of 74 in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. He was born on July 29, 1939 to the late Walter Joubert and Anna Simien Joubert of Sunset, LA. He moved to Lake Charles, LA after living in Houston, TX for many years. He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Paula Marie Joubert. They shared 42 wonderful years together. He also leaves children: Randrick Joubert of Lake Charles,LA; Chrisine Joubert, Martin Joubert; Anthony (Angela) Joubert; Carla Joubert (Dan) Carter all of Houston, TX; Katina Joubert (Aaron) Hicks of Kansas City, MO; Darrel(Yolanda)Levias of Amite, LA; David Levias of Lake Charles, LA; Sheila(Norris) Charles; Charlene (Reginal) Marshall; Charlotte Lastrapes all of Lake Charles, LA; and Pataricia (Keith) Botley of Katy, TX and Five Sisters: Helen Landor of Houston, TX; Theresa(Clarence) Nagin of New Orleans, LA; Joyce (Bobby) Thibodeaux; and Bernice and Bernita Joubert all of Lake Charles, LA; one brother: Walter (Julia) Joubert of Lake Charles, LA; 39 Grand Children; 20 Great Grand Children and a host of nieces, nephews, friends and other family members to mourn his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Anna Joubert; two sons: John Gergory Joubert and Paul Levias Jr.; 3 brothers: Curtis, Retell and Harry Joubert; two sisters: Hilda Green and Hazel Teal.
