Joseph Redmon, Jr.,
(Tookie), 64, departed this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2015, at Christus St. Patrick Hospital. Mr. Redmon born July 30, 1951, in Port Barre, Louisiana, to Joseph Redmon, Sr., and Mary Shelton Redmon.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife, Lillian Bartie Redmon; one daughter, Katrina A. Bartie; three sons, John Aaron, Darrell Bartie and Tyrone Bartie; two brothers, John Redmon and Sanders Deville; one sister, Patricia Redmon; two god-daughters, Khi'Alynn Fontenot and Tiffanie Green; special sisters and brothers-in-law, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Mary Redmon; one daughter, Twanna Bartie, and two sisters, Mary Lou Swain and Betty McAfee.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 28, 2015, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Kings Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
