Joseph Justin Kennerson departed this life on Thursday, March 16, 2017, at the age of 61. He was born on February 2, 1956, to the late Lee Kennerson and Mary June Bellard-Kennerson in Church Point, LA.

He worked for Conoco Phillips for 35 years where he also retired. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and loved his favorite football team, the Steelers. We will miss him very dearly in this life.

He is survived by his mother, Mary June Bellard-Kennerson; his nephew, Joshua Malveaux and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Kennerson and his sister, Elverna Kennerson.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at 8:00 a.m. at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 10:00 a.m., at St. Theodore Catholic Church, 785 Sam Houston Jones Parkway, Moss Bluff with Father Bert Borel, officiating.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
