Joseph Reed Jr., 55, passed away on September 14, 2012 at St. Patrick's Hospital. He was born on June 10, 1957 in Lake Charles, LA to Joseph Reed and Helen Johnson Reed. He graduated from Lake Charles High School in 1976, and later joined the Lake Charles Fire Dept in 1977. He was preceded in death by his wife Eva Cormier Reed. He is survived by his four children; Joi Reed, Jared Reed, Quinston Cormier, and Jessica Reed; two grandchildren; Jordan and Laila Rideau; his parents; Joseph and Helen Reed; two brothers; Floyd (Dinah) Reed and Kevin (Darnella) Reed; three sisters; Cheryl Reed, Carolyn (Roosevelt) Webb, and Linda Reed; as well as a host of dedicated relatives and friends.
