Joseph Courtney Semien, Jr ., "Chico", 74, departed this life on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA. He was born October 9, 1944, to Courtney Joseph Semien, Sr., and Mary Nola Delafosse Semien in Oakdale, LA.  He was a veteran in the United States Army.  He worked at S & M Food Services and was a truck driver until his retirement.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 19 years, Stephanie Semien; five children, James Semien, Courtney Semien, Christopher Semien, Diana Semien and Almeta Semien all of Lake Charles, LA; one brother, Joseph Carlo Semien; two sisters, Ella Semien and Lynn Semien all of Lake Charles, LA; 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Courtney and Mary Semien.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, April 1, 2019, at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
