Joyce Marie Hill, 70, was born May 25, 1944, to Robert and Mary Hill. She departed this life on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at a local hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Joyce dedicated her life to Christ and was a member of Mill Street Church of Christ. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mageline Hill, father, Robert Hill, grandson, Brandon Dicks, and great granddaughter, Karliegh Ware. Joyce was an amazing mother, sister, grandmother, nurturing caregiver, and a best friend to everyone. She is survived by her four children, Janice Solarie, Christopher Spillman, Henry Spillman, and Tiffany Jernagin; two brothers, Gene Hill and Jimmy Hill; one uncle, Malory Morrow; 29 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Mill Street Church of Christ, with Ministers Courtney Jones and C.E. Gaines officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
