Joyce Marie Washington, 70, departed this life on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, at Landmark Nursing Home in Lake Charles, LA. She was born October 9, 1949, to Aaron and Leitha Washington in Washington, LA.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her siblings, Willie C. (Ella) Washington,  Lula (Lawrence) Lafleur, Jean E. Williams, Laura (George) Harris, Diane (Peter) Mayes and Aria Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron and Leitha Washington; two sisters, Helen Gailes and Alice Brown and one brother, Aaron Washington, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. and family service at 1:00 p.m. at King's Funeral Home, Pastor Elmore Garner officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
