Julia Ann Savoy , 80, departed this life on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Harbor Hospice in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born December 16, 1944, to Hazel Richard Mitchell in Houston, TX.  She was a supervisor in the custodial industry and worked various jobs until her retirement.  She loved talking about her Lord and Savior, shopping and going out to lunch with friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her son, Johnny Savoy (Kiesha) of Lake Charles, LA; one sister, Nancy Malbrough of Beaumont, TX; three nieces, Mandy, Haley and Sunni Malbrough all of Beaumont, TX and one grandchild, Jonathan Savoy.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel Richard Denson;  her husband, Ervin J. Savoy, one daughter, Daner Provost; her grandparents, Leonard and Julia Richard; five aunts, Lillian Richard, Rebecca Silas, Leona Pickens, Bernice Smith and Isabella Richard; three uncles, Clement Richard, Frank Richard and Leonard Richard, Jr.

A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2025, at 9:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
