June Buckley was born July 14, 1960, in Koonce, TX to Imelda Thomas and Cleo Price, Sr. She was a 1980 graduate of DeQuincy High School. On August 24, 2000, June married Ander Buckley of San Augustine, TX. She spent much of her life serving others through her work with Calcasieu Parish Head Start and Twin Lakes Care Center, where she worked for 17 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleo Price, Sr., and Imelda Thomas; one great grandson, Zy'rian Leday and two sisters, Kathy Price and Lois Jean Price.

She leaves to mourn her loving devoted husband, Ander Buckley; three sons, Johnas (Roberta) Ardoin, Justin (Jacquelyn) Price, and Merrick (Tranika) Weathered; 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, 11 siblings, Alundia Cross, Gloria McCray, Ricky L. Price, Ricky Price, Carolyn Price, Lilly Stanley, Pearlie Nash, Cleo Price, Jr., Victor Price, Leashia Price and Tony Price and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., and funeral service at 1:00 p.m., at Evergreen Missionary Baptist Church, DeQuincy, La., with Rev. James Harris officiating. Burial will follow in Community Cemetery in DeQuincy under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
