Karen Collins-Shaw, 51, of Lake Charles passed away August 10, 2025. She was born on August 1, 1974, to Ann Reed Collins and Joseph Collins.

Early in her career she worked in the casino industry, where she met and fell in love with her husband, Robert Shaw. In the past decade, Karen was a stay at home mom and devoted wife. Her hobbies included crafting, creating home décor such as beautiful wreaths for family, friends, and the community.

Left to cherish her memory is husband; Robert Shaw, children; Lexus Collins, William Collins and Madison Shaw, brother; Erick Lee (Darla) Collins and both parents, Joseph and Ann Collins. She also leaves her nephew, TJ, and niece Kiana, and a great nephew Sonny.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14, 2025, from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM, with a Rosary at 9:00 AM held at King's Funeral Home. Funeral service to follow at St. Margaret Catholic Church, 11:00 AM. Burial at Sacred Heart Mausoleum, under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
