Karen Hadnot , 62, departed this life on Thursday, March 7, 2024, in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born January 31, 1962, to Willie Walker, Sr., and Gladys Walker in New Orleans, LA.  She worked at Housing Authority for many years.  She loved attending church, bible study, watching westerns and family feud and visiting with family and friends.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Kevin (Kimberly) Walker of Lake Charles, LA, and John Baker (Ashia King) of Lake Charles, LA; siblings, Willie (Jonell) Walker, Jr., of Texas, Wan Walker of Baton Rouge, LA and Kim Taylor of Lake Charles, LA; six grandchildren, Auni Williams, Brennan Baker, Tiara Walker, Javion Joyce, Darrion Washington and Koreyon Washington and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie Walker, Sr., and Gladys Walker and her husband, Larry Hadnot, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., and a memorial service at 11:00 a.m., at Way of the Cross Fellowship Church, 2215 E. Opelousas Street, Lake Charles, LA under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
