Kenneth returned to his heavenly home on Sunday, April 13, 2008, at 2:59 pm.
He was born to the late Joseph A. Landry and Dora Charlot Landry on January 3, 1940, in Church Point, Louisiana. He moved to Lake Charles 38 years ago where he united with Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was the sixth of eight children. Kenneth married Linda R. Wildridge and to this union five children were born. He leaves to mourn three daughters: Karen Bellow of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Frances (Emario) Rippy of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and DorLisa Landry (Kevin Brooks- - fiancé) of Houston, Texas; two sons, SSG Joseph K. (Vanessa) Landry stationed in Ft. Riley, Kansas, and Kirk Landry of Houston, Texas; one sister, Anna Joyce Landry all of Church Point, Louisiana, and a brother George Rogers of New York; two aunts, Pearlie Charlot and Hilda Landry both of Church Point, Louisiana.
He leaves his beloved eight grandchildren: Kendra, Jordan, Alicia, Donnovan, Evan, Alexis, Mahogoney, and Kirkland, and a special niece Melissa Landry Citizen, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister.
Kenneth was a devoted tire serviceman who worked for a local tire company for 38 years. He was a people-person that always helped others. He loved to go fishing, crabbing, and do mechanical work. He will be greatly missed by all.
