Kenneth Wayne “Kenny Boo” Walker, 64, of Lake Charles, departed this earthly life to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Thursday, July 9, 2026. Kenneth Wayne was born on September 19, 1961, to Jerome Decloutte and Margaret Favors Walker. He was later adopted by his dad William A. Alexander Walker.

Kenneth graduated from Marion High School, Class of 1980. Kenneth worked as a security guard for several corporations, including the City of Lake Charles, where he worked diligently at the City Hall and the Historic Central School of Arts and Humanities. While not working, he enjoyed spending time with his family, cooking, fishing, and watching his favorite New Orleans Saints. He also enjoyed walking along the lakefront at the Lake Charles Civic Center. Kenneth never met a stranger and loved to talk, no matter where he met up with you.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerome Declouette of Lake Charles, his adopted father, William A. Alexander Walker of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, and his twin sister, Cynthia Marie Walker Winbush.

He leaves to cherish his memory and extend his legacy, his seven children: Kiara Landry, Kijonna Walker, Kinnira Walker, Kaleb Walker, Kathy Walker, Kaylah Walker, and Kayleigh Walker; his former spouse and mother of his children, Kathy Landy Walker; mother, Margaret Favors Walker Mascoll; sisters, Pamela (Samuel) Edwards of Lake Charles, and Sharon (Robbie) Addison of Austin, Texas.

A celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning with a Visitation at 10:30am. A Memorial Service will follow at 11:30am, in King’s Funeral Home Chapel.
