Keon Marcel Miles passed away at the tender age of 10 on April 27, 2014, in Tulane Hospital for Children. He was born to Cinica Miles and Kiley Williams on Aug. 22, 2003, in Lake Charles, La. He was a member of Christian Baptist Church under the leadership of the Rev. Edward Alexander Jr., where he served in the CBC Youth Choir and participated in Sunday school. He attended Moss Bluff Elementary School and was an honor roll student in 5th grade. Cherishing Keon's sweet memories are his parents, Cinica (Travis) Miller of Moss Bluff, La.; his father, Kiley Williams of Oakdale, La.; brothers, Tywan' Miles, Travis (TJ), Travin Miller of Lake Charles, La.; brothers, Kiley Bell, Kollin Williams; and sister, Gensis Wallace all of Oakdale, La.; maternal grandparents, Debra Miles Sam and Herman Jones of Oakdale, La.; paternal grandparents, Darrell Blackston of Oakdale, La., and Vernadine Chavis of Lake Charles, James (Paula) Miller of Lafayette, La.; and a host of uncles, aunts, family and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Shirley and William (Harper) Miles; paternal great-grandmother, Valerie Smith; and a dear cousin, Mac Mckinley (Lil Mac). Visitation will be Saturday, May 3, 2014m from 9-11 a.m. at Christian Baptist Church and the funeral will be at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Alexander Jr. officiating. Burial will be at Community Cemetery in Oakdale, La., under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
