Kimberly Danielle Gordon was born on May 13, 1979 in Washington D.C. to Beverly Weston and the late Ronald Gordon. Kimberly was given the Sacraments of Baptism, Holy Communion and Confirmation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lake Charles, LA. Kimberly entered eternal rest along with her beloved infant daughter Mahogany and her loving fiancé Michael on May 23, 2014. Mahogany Abigail Guillory was born on July 10, 2013 in Lake Charles, LA to the late Kimberly Danielle Gordon and the late Michael Guillory. Mahogany was given the Sacrament of Baptism on February 2, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mahogany was a joyful, beautiful baby who loved smiling and being held by her Mother and Father. Kimberly attended Sacred Heart/Saint Katharine Drexel School in Lake Charles, LA from Pre-K to 8th grade. Kimberly was known as a caring and sweet student and was well-liked by her teachers and classmates. Kimberly graduated from Lake Charles Boston High School in 1997 and was employed by the Isle of Capri since 2003. Kimberly exemplified the virtues of hard work and dedication and was loved and respected by her coworkers and dear friends. Friends and family will always remember Kim for her warm smile and even bigger heart. In her leisure, Kimberly enjoyed exercising, watching Mike coach baseball games, walking and going out to eat at local restaurants. However, the role Kimberly most enjoyed was being a loving Mother and dutiful daughter. She was a caring, devoted Mother and Stepmother and truly cherished her family. Kimberly was always seen with "Lexie" by her side and Mahogany in her arms. She was also a loving daughter, sister and friend - always ready to offer a kind word and bright smile. Kimberly was very close to her Mother and they talked or spent time with one another every day. Kimberly truly enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others. Kimberly was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Gordon; grandmother, Margaret Washington; uncles, Wilson Joseph Washington Jr. and Warren Michael Washington Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Alexia Danielle Herrin; Mother, Beverly Weston of Lake Charles, LA; brother, Michael Weston of Lake Charles, LA; uncles, Samuel Washington of Houston, Texas, Francis Washington of Lake Charles, LA, Kenneth Gordon of Lake Charles, LA, and Calvin Gordon of California; aunt, Barbara Guillory of Houston, Texas; a host of cousins, beloved stepchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
