Starts at 2:00 pm (Central time)
Kindra Travis Adams, “Kindy Lou,” 44, of Sulphur, Louisiana passed away on June 4, 2026.
Kindy Lou loved life and adventure. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, and working outside. She loved giving and receiving gifts, and she was always willing to help in any way she could. She was an avid collector and found pleasure in the simple things in life, including her favorite candy, Sprees.
She talked to strangers like they were lifelong friends, and she deeply loved her friends and family, including her church family at Freedom Ministry of the South. Her nieces and nephews were the light of her life, and there was never any doubt how much she adored them.
A verse she tried to stand on was James 1:2-4: “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
Kindy Lou is survived by her grandmother, Melba Boyter; her father, Taylor Reuben Adams; her mother, Kris-tina Boyter; her siblings, Kassy Fontenot and husband Phillip, Rusty Adams and wife Angie, Kortney Barrera and husband AB, Ryan Adams and wife Kathy Lee, Kamryn VanNetta and husband Cory, Rhett Hanagriff, Ricky Hanagriff, and David Reed Hanagriff; her nieces and nephews, Gabrielle, Javen, Nina, Taylor, Jesse, Talliana, Elizabeth, Asher, Laura-Lee, Victoria, Jake, Levi, Nathaniel, Ella, Travis, and Anna; and her great-niece and great-nephew, Elliana, and Keondre.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Travis Edward Boyter, “Honey”; her grandparents, AB Adams and wife Beth; and her aunt, Kelle Boyter, “Keke”.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at 2:00 PM at Truth Apostolic Church. Kindy will be greatly missed by all.
