Lawrence Lafleur , 79, departed this life on Friday, October 8, 2021, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born February 2, 1942, to Willie Lafleur, Sr., and Josephine Senegal Lafleur in Lake Charles, LA.   He worked at PPG Industries for 32 years.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife of 56 years, Lula Lafleur; one brother, Willie Lafleur, Jr., of Huntsville, AL; two sisters, Edith "Louise" Boutte (Mark) and Peggy Lafleur Goodly both of Lake Charles, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Josephine Lafleur, Sr., four brothers, Woodrow, Horace, August and Wilbert Lafleur; two sisters, Josie Nell Lafleur and Betty Anderson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:15 p.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Entombment will be in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
