LC Robinson , 78, departed this life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017, at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was born on June 12, 1938, to the late Charles Robinson and Zora Mouton Robinson in Crowley, LA. He worked for MI Drilling as a welder until his retirement. He also worked for Calcasieu Parish School Board at S. J. Welsh Middle School as a custodian. He was a very loving and compassionate person. He loved fishing and cooking. His favorite pastime was playing dominoes.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 41 years, Genevieve Robinson, his children, Sheila (Isaac) Goins and Christopher Robinson all of Lake Charles, LA; five sisters, Bertha Robinson, Carleen (Rev. James) Lee, Shirley Guillory, Brenda Robinson and Marjorie Chavis; five brothers, Floyd (Barbara) Robinson, Louis (Barbara) Robinson, Donald Ray Robinson, Harold (Janice) Robinson and David Robinson of Florida; 12 grandchildren and a  host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Zora Robinson, one sister, Charlotte Robinson; one brother, Lloyd Robinson, two sons, Derrick Robinson and Brian Keith Robinson and one daughter, Felicia Hope Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at 8:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Redemption Tabernacle Church, Pastor Kenneth A. Goins, officiating. Burial will be in Old Emmanuel Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
