Lee "Pookie Boy" Moore Jr. was granted his angel wings on July 21, 2020. He was the son of late Dorothy Faye and Lee Roy Moore Sr. He was born on November 18, 1965 in Leesville, LA. At a young age he moved to Cameron, La where his love for being outdoors grew for duck hunting, deer hunting and his all time favorite, fishing. Leroy was a very outgoing person. He loved all of his family very dearly and always made sure everyone knew it.  He loved music, dancing, watching tv, being surrounded by loved ones and also being outdoors.  For someone so small he had a smile that could light up a room, laughter that was oh so contagious and a heart filled with gold.

Along his journey he had four children, Dominic Adams, 30, Jo'Von Bowman, 27, Jessica Moore, 23 and Krystal Bowman,25. He also had eight grandchildren,  Zariyah Adams 11, Janiyah Adams 9, Eamon Rankin 6, Malani Adams 4, Drue Bowman 2, Eli King 2, Ashton Bowman 1 and Kyon Green 5 months; along with many sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was met at the gates of Heaven by his granddaughter, Ava Moore; siblings, Ronald (Woogie) Moore and Cynthia Lucille Moore; along with his parents, Dorothy Faye and Lee Roy Moore Sr.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and burial following at Garden of Memories Cemetery in Leesville, LA.
