Leeanna Jean Joseph, 77, departed this life on Saturday, September 11, 2021 in Lake Charles, La. She was born in Mamou, La. to Samuel and Corelia Thomas. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her daughters, Angela Joseph and Amy Blackwell both of Texas; granddaughters, Ashley Blackwell of Maryland and Alexis Blackwell of Texas; grandson, Ryan Odom of Texas and great-granddaughter, Amerie Cummings of Maryland. She also leaves nephews, Derek and Darren Jones, a niece, Darcey Jones all of Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Corelia Thomas; sister, Dorothy Thomas and son-in-Law, David Blackwell.

At her request, there will be no funeral service. Instead, we ask that friends and loved ones hold on to fond memories that you shared.

Due to the current health risk involving gatherings, a memorial service will be considered at a later time.
