Lenette Mary Castillo, 60, passed away in a local hospital on Monday, November 27, 2017. She was born in Lake Charles, LA on January 28, 1957, to the late Joseph, Sr. and Ritha (Gradney) Hebert.

She was a graduate of Sunset High School in Hayward, CA. She was a collector of many things, and enjoyed singing, dancing, and spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Gene Castillo; her children, Penny Winey-Duhon (Chris), Andre Castillo (Aerial), Laylanie Castillo (Kevin), Jeanette Bennett (Delmar, Sr.), Tim Castillo (Tiffany), Manuel Castillo (Ashley) and Gena Batiste (Chris); her mother, Ritha Hebert; her siblings, Joseph Hebert and Tim Hebert; 19 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Hebert, Sr.; her sisters, Mildred "Pumpkin" Hayes and Christine Hebert.

Lenette was a loving and outgoing person, full of energy, and loved by all she met.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Refuge Temple in Lake Charles, LA. Burial will follow in Lacassine
