Lenton "Lent" Edwin Jenkins , 70, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2020, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Lent was born in Orange, Texas to B.L. Jenkins and Billie Frank Rather Jenkins on August 17, 1949. Upon graduation from Hebert High School in Beaumont, Texas in 1968, he served in the United States Air Force.

Lent is preceded in death by his parents; B.L. and Billie Frank Jenkins; two sisters, Velma Jean Jenkins and Sandra Kay Jenkins Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories two sons, Lionel Thomas (Joelicia) of Beaumont, TX and Aaron Jenkins (Niechelle) of Lake Charles, LA; 20 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, three sisters, three brothers and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later day.
