Leo Rideaux , 73, departed this life on Sunday, September 3, 2023, at Calcasieu Community Care Center in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born January 26, 1950, to Lannis Rideaux and Elsie Simien Rideaux in Opelousas, LA.  He retired from St. David's Hospital in Austin, TX.  He loved football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys Fan.  He loved cooking.

He leaves to cherish his memories to his brothers, Floyd (Marie) Rideaux of Sulphur, LA, and Joe (Mary) Rideaux of Lake Charles, LA; four sisters, Leola Rideaux, Willie Mae Rideaux both of Lake Charles, LA , Rose Miller of Westlake, LA and Ruthie (James) Jones of Sulphur, LA; three grandchildren, Myesha, Tyeisha and Quneisha Duhon; five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lannis and Elsie Rideaux; one sister, Leona Lemelle; one brother, John L. Rideaux and a special friend, Glory Duhon.
