Leola Landis , 90, departed this life on Tuesday, November 13, 2018, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA. She was born November 5, 1928, to Woodson Butler Johnson and Roxie Ann Johnson in Winnfield, LA. She was a homemaker who loved cooking for her family, sewing, shopping and volunteering at nursing homes.

She leaves to cherish her memories, one nephew, Gregory Gray, one neice, Vivian Thomas both from Houston, TX, and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodson and Roxie Johnson, three brothers and two sisters.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24, 2018, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Elmore Garner, officiating.
