Leola VanWright Rougeaux , 81,  Sunrise January 5, 1934 - Sunset August 20, 2015

She leaves to mourn her children, Emma Handy (Darrell) and Betty Rougeaux; one sister, Elsie Durgan; six grandchildren, Bettina Rougeaux (Joshua Guidry), Darrell Rougeau (Kristene), Adrian Handy (Jodi), Barry Handy, Taneesha Etuk and Tawanna Etuk; nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Mayas Rougeaux; daughter, Barbara Ann Lazard Etuk; parents, Emma Edwards and Lamar VanWright; brothers, Lamar VanWright Jr. (Uncle Bud), Joseph VanWright, Moses VanWright (Uncle Beck), Morris VanWright, and Davis VanWright (Noncle); sister, Viola VanWright Davis.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015, at 8:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home with a Rosary at 8:45 a.m., and Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
