On Monday, February 3rd, 2025, Leroy Joseph Victorian went to be with the Lord in the comfort of his home with his wife of 63 years by his side and surrounded by family.

Leroy was born March 27, 1942 in Lake Charles, Louisiana to the late Anthony and Lillie Mae Victorian.

Leroy was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He graduated from Washington  High School where he was a member of the marching band. He married Bernita Victorian in 1961 and to this union four children were born. He attended Grambling State University and McNeese State University and returned home to run the family business, Joe's Cleaners. He took great pride in being a small business owner and was the owner and operator of Joe's Cleaners for over 50 years. He was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a Third Degree Knight of Saint Peter Claver. Prior to his illness, he enjoyed zydeco dances, listening to music, good food, and spending time with family, friends, and classmates. His home was a gathering place for cousins throughout the years, and he entertained family frequently.  He had a strong and quiet presence in his family, and he will be truly missed by all.

Leroy was preceeded in death by his parents, Anthony and Lillie Mae Victorian; son, Leroy Victorian Jr; and brother, Sidney Victorian.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Bernita Victorian; three daughters, Suzette Jones (Dennis), Lynette Loche (Solomon), and Tonette Tillery; five grandchildren, MariAnna O'Ree (Brandon), Dennis Jones, Jr, Solomon Loche III, Desmond Tillery, Jr, and Victoria Loche; one nephew, Sidney Victorian (Kim); one niece Diedre Brown and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at 8:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Entombment will follow in Sacred Heart Mausoleum under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
