Leroy Dwight Williams , 37, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, October 19, 2019, in Harbor Beach, MI. He was born June 5, 1982, to Leroy John and Lillie Williams Babineaux.  Leroy regularly attended Harbor Beach United Methodist Church under the direction of Rev. Sari Brown. Leroy was a graduate of Barbe High School where he received a scholarship in Music.  He then attended McNeese State University and majored in music, however, he decided to pursue his passion and graduated in Culinary Art at Sowela.  He also received an insurance broker's license in the state of Arkansas.  Leroy's life was a living example of the bible verse, Ephesians 4:32, "And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgive one another, just as God forgave you in Christ."

Those left behind to cherish his memories, his mother, Lillie Williams Babineaux; two sisters, Jordan Babineaux and Jessica John; two brothers, Deshawn John and Leroy John; his paternal grandparents and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Leroy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Leroy John Sr.; his dad, Leroy John, Jr., his maternal grandparents, Huey P. Williams and Lillie Mae Evans Crockett.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at The Lord's Outreach Worship Center, 401 S. Martin Luther King at Highway 90, Lake Charles, LA, his aunt, Pastor Leona Benoit, officiating. Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
