Leslie James Collins, 65, departed this life on Sunday, March 13, 2022, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA.  He was born September 20, 1956, to Martin Collins and Mathilda Guillory Collins in Eunice, LA.  He worked as an industrial laborer and landscaping during his employment.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Ophelia Collins; his children, Germaine, Damian, Leslie, Troy, Orion, Jason, Alvin, Johnny, Corey, Jennifer and Chamica; his siblings, Anna Thomas, Shirley Collins and Dana Collins all of Orange, TX, and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Mathilda Collins; two sisters, Cinderalla Collins and Brenda Gail Collins; one daughter, Annie Moore; one brother-in-law, Calvin Thomas; one grandson, Merdic Williams and one great grandson, Joshua Moore.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 25, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
