Leslie Marie Achane-Manuel, 52, departed this life on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at her residence in Eureka, California. She was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Sterling Guillory and Melissa Achane. She worked as a waitress at Luby's in Beaumont, TX and as a sitter at Beaumont Home Health. She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Melissa Achane of Welsh, La; nine sisters, Veronica (Bobby) Snowton, Roxie (Kirk) Prudhomme of Eureka, CA and Arladine (Johnny) Shaw of Orange, TX, Pam Garrett and Dana Guillory of Lake Charles, LA, Janine Guil of Atlanta, GA, Cathy Guillory of Houston, TX, Mary and Alice Guillory of Sulphur, LA. She is preceded in death by her father, Sterling Guillory, stepfather, Michael Vickers, two sisters, Patsy Achane-Lyons and Angela Guillory. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015, at 9:00 a.m. and Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church in Welsh, La., with Rev. Nathan Stevens, officiating. Burial will be in Eastridge Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
