Lionel J. Babineaux, III, 43, departed this life on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans, La. He was born on August 12, 1974, to Joseph Babineaux and the late Sharon Green Babineaux in Lake Charles, La. He worked at Texas Roadhouse.

He leaves to mourn his father, Joseph (Janice) Babineaux; his wife, Kelley Babineaux; his children, Brian Ozane, Brandon Ozane, Benjamin Ozane and Reginald Joseph all of Lake Charles, La.; one sister, Brooke Babineaux of Lake Charles, La., three brothers, Fred Babineaux of Lake Charles, La., Eric Babineaux of Beaumont, TX, and Jody (Sherlita) Babineaux of Lake Charles, La., and a host of uncles, aunts, more siblings, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Green Babineaux; grandparents, Rose Beverly, Lennis Babineaux and Alberta Babineaux; three uncles, Louis, Ernest and Andre "Pop" and two aunts, Harriet Babineaux Citizen and Clara Bell Babineaux Citizen "Pat".

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at 10:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.
