Lionel (G Boo) Moore departed for his heavenly home on Tuesday, February 23, 2014 in Lake Charles at Christus St. Patrick's Hospital at the age of 79. He was born to the late Willie and Emily Moore on February 22, 1935 in Cameron, La. He leaves to mourn his wife of many years Barbara Lowery Moore and a blended family of kids, Durnell Frank of Lake Charles, and Sheraton Frank, Tira Harris, Quiana (Leon) Clayton all of Lafayette, La; Adam and Arnold James Malveaux of Lake Charles, La; Bridgett Davis and Isabella of Lake Charles, La and a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, family, friends and especially the members of New Beginning Church of God In Christ. He was very well known in Cameron, La and worked as a Shrimper, Commercial Fisherman and had worked previously as a deputy Sheriff for many years under Sheriff Reed, and Sheriff Mancuso in Calcasieu Parish as well under Sheriff Savoy in Cameron Parish. He also worked as a Security Guard for Bargeman Memorial Church of God In Christ in Cameron, La and most recently at New Beginning Church of God In Christ of Mossville, La. He was preceded in by his parents Willie and Emily Moore and many siblings
