Lloyd Doucet departed this life on June 7, 2025, in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Mr. Doucet was born on October 3, 1950, to Carlton Doucet and Elizabeth (Joyce) Deaureseau Doucet in Eunice, Louisiana.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Linda Lewis Doucet, his children: Everette (Donna) Thomas, Jejuan (Alexa) Doucet of Clera, Alabama, Anthony Doucet, Houston, Texas; Paul Doucet of Dallas, Texas, Lydia Doucet of Houston, Texas; his siblings: Wilton Doucet of Chesapeake, Virginia, Wilson (Ruth) Doucet of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Gertie Bias of Lafayette, Louisiana, Clayton (Cynthia Ann) Doucet, Detroit, Michigan, Layton Doucet of Eunice, Louisiana, and Willard (Sandra) of Detroit, Michigan. He also leaves eleven grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Doucet is preceded in death by his parents Carlton and Joyce Doucet; four sisters, Martha Dugar, Florence D. Gallow, Anna Thibodeaux, and Flora Allen.

Following Mr. Doucet's wishes, Cremation arrangements are entrusted to King's Funeral Home.
