Louis Randall Babineaux was born March 28, 1938 in Opelousas, Louisiana to the late Lernest and Alberta Simien Babineaux. A native of Opelousas, he resided in Lake Charles, Louisiana most of his life where he was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church and Washington-Marion High School for over twenty-five years.

He leaves to cherish his memories three daughters, Sylvia (Reginald) Zackery, Carol and Kim Babineaux all of Lake Charles; two sons, Gary and Kenneth Babineaux both of Lake Charles; two sisters, Helen Myles of Beaumont, Texas and Clara Citizen of Lake Charles; two brothers, Andre and Joseph F. Babineaux both of Lake Charles; seven grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Babineaux.
