Mack (Soul) Richardson, 72, passed peacefully from this life on the morning of September 30, 2014, after a gradual decline in health. He was surrounded and supported by his loving family during the last days of his life. Mack was born on December 10, 1941, in Shreveport, La., but later moved to Lake Charles, La. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Welcome. He was also a member and lead singer for the Mighty Sensations Gospel Group. He leaves to cherish his memories with his wife, Geraldine Lubin Richardson; five sons, Anthony (Keshie) Lubin, Shonta Lubin, Michael Lubin, James (Naomi) Lubin, and Jerome (Valencia) Lubin all of Lake Charles, La; 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild of Lake Charles, La; four sisters-in-law, Shirley Parish, Veronica Lubin, Cathy (Pastor Joseph) Banks all of Lake Charles, La., and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Hawkins, grandmother, Mamaih Williams, brother-in-law, Clarence "Red" Lubin and an uncle.
