Mae Gloria Guillory, 89, departed this life on Monday, July 31, 2023, at her home in Manvel, TX.  She was born June 7, 1934, to Santon Thierry and Thomasine Guillory Thierry in Mallet, LA.  She was a domestic worker for Dr. George Schneider.  She loved reading, taking care of her grandchildren and attending church.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children, Pamela Lewis (Lou), of San Antonio, TX, Donald Ray Guillory (Yvonne) of Beaumont, TX, Francis Williams (Chris) of Los Angeles, CA,  and Peter Guillory (Erica) of Fort Worth, TX; 12 grandchildren, Angela Freeman (Charro), Renita Collins (Khari), Steven Lewis (Trinity), Jerica Evans (Anthony) Denise Taylor (Russell), Tonisha Foster (Curtis), Eric James (Katie), Alex Guillory, Marina Williams, Alesia Lewis, Thomas Jefferson and Alia Moore; 24 great grandchildren, DeAndre, Dominique, DeCorey, Brittany, Jamie, Jessica, Amaya, Mario, Makenzie, Malik, JeNea, Benjamin, Kaleigh, Melody, Maddison, Maylasia, Malachi, Matthew, Charro, III, Khy, Khafi, Kh'Moufi, Quincey and Qamar; 12 great great grandchildren, Jai, Kylo, Kaison, Amariz, Mason, Amaria, Kenndey, Sophia, Summer Sky, Kylie and Kylynn; three bonus children, Jane Schneider, Ann Schneider and Steve Schneider and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santon and Thomasine Thierry; siblings, Albert Guillory, Gilbert Guillory, Elrick Guillory, Doreska Guillory, Houston Thierry, Florence Broussard, Florena Declouette, Eula Guillory Ledet, Celestine Melancon, Jacob Thierry and LouBertha Jones and one great grandson, Eric Ramon James, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2023, at 8:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home and funeral service at 10:30 a.m., at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
