On Tuesday, December18, 2013, The Lord called Malbert Lewis Jr to his heavenly home at the age of 68 while surrounded by family and friends. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Malbert Joseph Lewis Sr. of Lake Charles on January 12, 1945. He was a 1964 Graduate of Boston High School and served in the US Marine Corp for 4 years and retired from the Veterans Administration in Houston, TX. He leaves to mourn his father, Malbert Joseph Lewis Sr.; Norma Lewis, one son, Malbert Joseph Lewis III and one daughter Cynthia (Dwight) Allen all of Houston, TX; 3 sisters, Geralyn Lewis, Cathy (John) Frank all of Lake Charles, LA; Veronica (Ronald) Lewis of Long Beach, CA; two grandchildren, LaToyshea Butler and Carrizo Allen of Houston, TX: two great grandchild LaDerien Girdy and Dillon Butler both of Houston, TX and a host of friends and family members. He was preceded in death by his mother Hazel Lewis and one sister, Diane Lewis Redmond.
