Manuel Glenn Fontenot was born November 23, 1959 to Manuel and Joanna Tezeno Fontenot in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He was baptized at an early age at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Glenn was no stranger to anyone. He was a kind and caring person. When he smiled he lite up, then began to laugh; oh what a laugh. He loved sharing, and his passion was landscaping. Oh how he loved that task. Just call him and he was there, with a response, give me your plan, " I got this alright". Oh how much you will be missed baby.

Manuel departed this life and entered into a peaceful rest on Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

He leaves to cherish his memories and wonderful life; parents Manuel and Joanna Tezeno Fontenot of Lake Charles; four daughters, Kizzy Fontenot and Emanuella Watson both of Dequincy, LA., Alexis and Alexa both of Westlake, LA.; four sisters, Shelvin Ann Mouton, Linda Faye Fontenot both of Lake Charles, Mary Fontenot (Norris) Anderson of Leesville, LA., and Barbara Ann Johnson of Ville Platte, LA.; one brother, Bobby (Vergie) Doucet of Ville Platte, LA.; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Glenn was preceded in death by his wife, Debra Fontenot; and son, Manuel Fontenot.
