Margaret Lavine King was born on November 25, 1934 in Washington, LA., to the late Jules Lavine and Rita Lavine LaFleur. She was a faithful member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Washington, LA. She moved to Port Arthur, TX., and became a member of Shilo Baptist Church. When she became ill she moved to New Orleans, LA., where she joined St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Marrero, LA., until her death. Margaret was preceded in death by her two sons; Todd Wayne King and Christopher Jerome King, her granddaughter; Shanet King, her parents; Jules Lavine and Rita Lavine LaFleur, four brothers; Felton Tezeno, Milton Lavine, Linton Lavine, and Colton Lavine. She leaves to cherish her memory, her daughter; Sheila King Johnson(Tommy), four sons; Eugene King(Racquel), Willie King Jr., Larry King(Faye), and Donald King, a sister; Beatrice Fontenot, a brother; Wildred Lavine, twenty-one grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, her companion; Milton Taylor of Port Arthur, TX., and a host of nieces, great nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
