Margaret Virginia Thomas , 78, departed this life on Thursday, April 29, 2021, at her residence in Lake Charles, LA.  She was born June 24, 1942, to Martin Miller and Alice Brown Miller in Lake Charles, LA.  She worked at the Calcasieu Parish School Board as a paraprofessional in Adult Education over 25 years until her retirement.

She leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Sandra (David, Sr.) Semien; siblings, Ruth (George) Carroll, Earline (Henry) Thomas, Bertha Mack, Irma (John) Landry all of Lake Charles, LA; two grandchildren, David Semien, Jr., and Danielle Gaston; two great grandchildren, Grayson Gaston and Reece Gaston and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Alice Miller; one brother, Felton Miller; five sisters, Thelma Miller, Rosemary Keller, JoAnn Miller, Hazel Miller and Alyce Papillion.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Combre Memorial Park under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
