Marie Alice Tripeaux Antoine was born on August 4, 1924, in Loreauville, LA to Wesley and Lovinia Tripeaux.  She departed this life at the age of 92 on Wednesday, October 5, 2016.  She was a member of Sacred Heart for over 71 years.  She was member of the Ladies Altar Society and Senior Citizen.  She received her high school diploma at the age of 62 from W. O. Boston where she later retired from. She was married to the late Louis Antoine, Jr., and had seven children.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Jane Bias, Catherine Antoine, Eva "Becky" Fontenot, Edward Ray Antoine and Juanita Thomas; 17 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 11 great great grandchildren, one sister, Mary Ann Williams' two sons-in-law, Curley Fontenot and James M. Scott, Sr; one daughter-in-law, Carla Antoine, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Wesley and Lovinia Tripeaux; her husband, Louis Antoine, Jr; two children, Francis Roy Antoine and Mary Alice Williams; one sister, her twin, Aline Lawrence; two brothers, Lloyd Tripeaux and Edward Jule, "Jill" Tripeaux; one grandchild, Cornelius "Neil" Arvie and one great grandchild, Krystal Briscoe.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2016, at 10:00 a.m., under the direction of King's Funeral Home at Truelight Baptist Church and funeral service at 12:00 noon, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.  Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
