Marilyn Green , 82, departed her earthly life on Saturday, May 21, 2016, in a local hospital.  She was born October 4, 1933, to the late Bernice Turpeau Hubbard and Louis Hubbard.  She worked at Green Acres Nursing Home for ten years.  She also worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital for 25 years before retiring.  She was a faithful member of Warren United Methodist Church for many years.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one son, Merrick Hubbard; one daughter, Yolanda McCullen Harris; four grandchildren, Dwayne McCullen, LaShanda Richard, Merrick Perkins, all of Lake Charles, La., and Edwin Hubbard of Oklahoma.  She also had six wonderful great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice Turpeau Hubbard and Louis Hubbard; two aunts, Albertha Wright and Florence Stewart; one uncle, Merrick Wright; one cousin, Dewitt Stewart, all of New York City, New York and one best friend, Mable Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 9:00 a.m., and Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m., at Warren United Methodist Church, Rev. Davis W. Clark, officiating.
