Marques A. Citizen , 35, departed this life on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at his residence in Lake Charles, LA. He was born on April 9, 1982, to Wilford Leo-Paul and Mary Citizen in Church Point, Louisiana. He worked as a certified wedding consultant with M. Anthony's Creative Concepts. He loved cooking, singing and dancing, decorating and spending quality time with his friends.

He leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Mary Citizen; two uncles, Shelton (Jess) Citizen and Peter (Carol) Citizen; four aunts, Delores (Ben) Catlon, Dorothy Veazie, Wilma Westbrook, and Helen Citizen and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Wilford Leo-Paul, one brother, Kevin Citizen and one aunt, Patricia Citizen.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2017, at 9:00 a.m., and funeral service at 12:00 noon, at King's Funeral Home, Father Matthew Cormier, officiating. Burial will be in Perkins Cemetery under the direction of King's Funeral Home.
