Martha Ann Moore was born on June 21, 1964, in Creole, Louisiana, to the late Joseph Moore and Rosie Lee Martin Moore. At an early age, Martha accepted Christ into her life, a decision that shaped the compassionate and faithful woman she became. She was deeply rooted in her church, where she was an active and devoted member who especially loved to sing and lift her voice in praise.

Martha attended South Cameron High School, where she proudly graduated as a member of the Class of 1982, carrying with her a strong sense of purpose and determination into the next chapter of her life.

Following graduation, Martha moved to Lake Charles, Louisiana, where her tireless work ethic and giving spirit quickly became evident. She found joy in helping others and was known for her unwavering willingness to lend a hand. She enjoyed staying active, often going on walks and jogs, finding peace and clarity in those quiet moments. Martha also had a love for adventure and experiencing the beauty of the world. She found great joy in traveling, especially visiting Jamaica and going on cruises, where she created lasting memories filled with laughter, relaxation, and love. Above all, Martha cherished being surrounded by her family. As the matriarch, she was the heart and foundation of her loved ones, offering guidance, strength, and unconditional love. Her presence brought warmth, comfort, and unity to all who knew her.

Later in life, Martha moved to Beaumont, Texas, where she continued to work diligently and care for those around her, never losing her generous spirit or her commitment to her family.
