Mary Angelina Declouiet, born April 17,1969, to James and Alma Celestine, passed away peacefully on December 4, 2024, in Lake Charles, LA.  Known for her warmth, compassion, and unwavering dedication to others, Mary touched countless lives during her time on this earth. She worked for many years as a dealer in the local casinos before discovering her true calling as a personal care attendant. In this role, her kindness and selflessness became a source of comfort and inspiration to those she served.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Alma Celestine; her maternal and paternal grandparents and her sister, Stephanie Celestine.

Mary's legacy lives on through her family, her children, Andrea Mitchell (DePaul) and her son Marcus Declouiet; one brother, James Celestine; three grandchildren, Gabriella, Naveah, and DePaul Jr; her devoted companion, Joseph Adams and her ex-husband and lifelong friend, Derrick Declouiet.  She is also remembered with love by a host of cousins, aunts, and dear friends who celebrate her life and the joy she brought to those around her. Mary's life was a testament of love, resilience, and generosity. Her care for others, devotion to her family, and inner strength will remain an enduring inspiration.
