Mary Nelda Gobert , 78, completed her earthly journey on Saturday, October 24, 2015, in a Harbor Hospice facility in Houston, TX.  She was a resident of Baytown, Texas, and was born April 21, 1937, in Church Point, Louisiana, to the late Lucien Citizen and Julia Citizen. She was married to Flynn Gobert and to that union a beautiful baby girl was born.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her loving daughter, Karen Hawkins and son-in-law, Chris Hawkins; two sisters, Porina Bellow and Shirley Hall (Willard); three brothers, Rodney Citizen (Barbara), Rogers Citizen, and Calvin Citizen and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Flynn Gobert; her parents, Lucien and Julia Citizen and three sisters, Jonara Thibodeaux, Nelma Guillory and Loretta Guillory.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at  10:00 a.m. and funeral service at 11:00 a.m., at King's Funeral Home, with Pastor Gerald Williams, officiating.
