God called Mary Leona Predium home to rest on the evening of July 11, 2013 after battling in critical care at Dubuis Hospital. Mary Predium was born to the late Dan Predium, and Leona Guillory Predium, on December 24, 1926 in Welsh, Louisiana. She was the seventh of ten children. Prior to Mary entering everlasting eternal rest she was preceded by her parents and seven siblings: Vircy Martin, Rose Gray, Earstern, Paul, Adam, Rufus and Leo Predium. She is survived by: her son Joseph Leo (Blanche) Pete; grand-daughters Jessica and Jennifer Pete; great grand-daughter Kammendi Jones; two brothers Isreal and Eldry Predium; and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Mary grew up in Lake Charles, Louisiana where she worked most of her life at Howard Johnson hotel management before retiring. Mary had countless friends and family that were continually bless by her presence. She loved listening to music, shopping and socializing with friends and family. The lives of many friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers were touch by her overt generosity. She reunited with Mount Calvary Baptist church 40 years ago, where she is a current member.
